Police deployed capsicum spray and foam batons on Wednesday, among other non-lethal weapons, to disperse hundreds from the Shine of Remembrance. Victoria Police Deputy Commissioner Ross Guenther said it was “completely disrespectful” for protesters to gather on the hallowed ground.
