Ahmad, a former translator working with Australian troops, was in hiding with his young family when word trickled back to him that his uncle had been killed at the hands of the Taliban. He wasnt able to return home to Faryab province in northern Afghanistan to mourn with his family, and concedes he never will because of his work with coalition forces.
